When this tab is selected the contents of the dialog change to:

Note: this dialog is not available in all versions.
Depending upon your system, both MCI and VFW methods may be available for capturing photographs. If they are, then you use this dialog to select the method you want to us.
This dialog also allows you to select which method to use to capture fingerprints. Since the MCI driver can only be set up to use one input before the badging program is run, it can be difficult to setup a video based fingerprint scanner as well. However, using the Capture Fingerprints Using … selection allows the user to choose whether they wish to capture fingerprints using either the MCI or TWAIN driver.
If the MCI driver has been setup for use with a camera to
capture photos then selecting TWAIN will bring up the chosen TWAIN driver when
the
button is pressed.
You can select which TWAIN device will be selected by using the pull-down
labeled TWAIN
Device. If this is left at Default TWAIN
Device then whichever TWAIN device has been selected by the Select
Source… option under the Configuration
menu item will be used. Alternatively, you can select a
specific TWAIN device from the list and that will be used regardless of the
device selected in the Select
Source… option. This has the advantage of allowing a TWAIN
photo device to be the default for photo capturing, but the fingerprint capture
will always be done with the specified TWAIN device.
If the MCI driver has been setup for use specifically with
the fingerprint capture device, then pressing the
button will bring up a live video image from
the specified input.
The values are set by clicking the Set button and will be remembered between each invocation of the Badging Program. Cancel and Help buttons are also provided.
