Using the Locked Field Feature

This feature can be used to prevent entry or modification of data on a field-by-field basis when in Normal Mode.  See the Design chapter for more information on how to specify which fields are to be locked.  If a field is locked the data in that field cannot be changed in any way unless the program is in Supervisory Mode or higher.  An except to this is counter fields which never have data entered into them manually and are therefore always locked.
