Track 2 is set in exactly the same way as track 1. However, this track is limited to the characters :;<=>? and the digits 0 through 9. This should be born in mind when assigning data to the track.
The maximum length of data on this track is 37 characters and if a fixed field length is entered it must be at or below this number.
