The pull down menu in the ID badge software is very simple, initially containing only 5 entries. The number of entries will change depending upon the current operation in progress. The initial 5 menu items are:
File This is where all the ID badge software DESIGN operations can be found, as well as Exit to terminate the program.
Reports! Where operational reports can be developed if the feature is available
Configuration Where various operational settings can be established.
TeamTracer! Activates the TeamTracer® window. TeamTracer is an optional program feature which facilities team member monitoring. This item will be unavailable if TeamTracer is not activated.
Window This is the standard Window menu item found in many Windows™ programs. It provides control over the various windows which may be present in the ID badge software at any given time.
Help This is also a standard Windows™ menu item providing access to the on-line help facility and display of an informational box about the ID badge software.
When a badge database is open and the badge is the currently active sub-window, additional menu items will appear in the menu bar. These menu items are:
Edit which allows you to change the data in the database for the current badge.
Search which has sub-menu items to control motion through the database and selection and sorting.
Photo which has a sub-menu for selecting Video, TWAIN or Bitmap picture capture. There is also a selection for capturing fingerprints.
Signature to capture a signature via a graphics tablet or import a signature file. This is an optional feature.
When a badge layout is being designed and is the currently active sub-window, the additional menu item is:
Design which has sub-menu items associated with editing a badge design.
