No Picture

Check your camera cabling.  Temporarily plug the cable from the camera into a video monitor to verify the signal.  Make sure you have connected the video cable to the lowest numbered video input cable on the capture board, when there is more than one.  Make sure you have configured your video board for the correct input via the Windows™ Control Panel.

To check your MCI video settings, select the MultiMedia applet in the Control Panel and click on the tab called Devices or Advanced.  Expand the selection called Media Control Devices and search for the driver that pertains to your video card.  Double click the correct driver listing and then click Settings… .  This should display the available settings for your particular board.  For more information on how to set your board up properly, consult the documentation from the manufacturer.
