Modifying Logical Field Characteristics

If a database has logical fields in it, it may become necessary at some point to modify their parameters.  The tab selection Logical is provided for this purpose.

If you select this option and the current database does not contain any such fields, the Logical Field Names box will informing you of this.

Otherwise, the dialog will appear similar to this:

All logical fields will be available in the pull-down entry box.  To modify the parameters associated with a field, select the field and change the values as required.  For information on the meaning and availability of the parameters see Entering The Database Fields.
