When the Metric check box is checked, all length values will be displayed and accepted in millimeters. The check box can be selected and deselected at any time. Values will automatically be displayed accordingly.
The program stores all length values internally in English units. Therefore it is not unusual to occasionally see small rounding errors when displaying metric values. These are very small and do not affect the accuracy overall of the application of the length value.
