Parallel Port Type: The parallel port security key is plugged into any parallel printer port on your computer. This port is usually located at the rear of the computer. It can be identified as a 25 pin female (socket) connector. If a printer cable is already plugged into this socket, temporarily disconnect it before attaching the security key. Once connected, the printer cable can be plugged into the female socket on the back of the security key. Printer operation will not be hindered in any way by the presence of the security key.
USB Type: If a USB security key is provided, plug it into any available USB port ONLY AFTER you have installed the software.
