For foreign and unknown database types this checkbox will be available. Checking the box will allow badge deletion that would otherwise be disallowed. This setting is related specifically to the open database. The setting is not available if a database is not open.
By default deletion of records is not allowed on foreign databases (ie: ones not created by the badging program) for protection of the foreign data. This setting allows this protection to be overridden.
