If a security key is not attached to the computer then the ID badge software switches to Demo Mode. When in this mode, the user can perform all operations but with the following limitations:
· The database can only contain up to 10 badges
· Badges can be printed up to 20 times
· “Try out” optional features will be available for up to 20 uses
The “try out” optional features and badge printing can be used an aggregate total of 20 times. This means that you could perform printing operations 10 times, capture 5 TWAIN images and 5 signatures, for example. Note: not all versions have try out features.

In addition to the above, the security system is disabled when in Demo Mode.
