You must define at least 1 and no more than 10 (or the maximum allowed by the database, if the Dossier option is available) database field names. You will not be able to define more fields if the record space is used up and the value is zero. If you try to add a field which would exceed the allowed maximum record length, a message will warn you of this and the field will not be created. If you need to add a field and there is insufficient room, consider deleting a General field and re-entering it with a smaller Field Length value.
The Next> button will not become available until at least 1 field name is entered. If you wish to abandon the database design you can click on Cancel. To proceed to the final phase of the database definition, click on Next>.
