Completing The Changes

When the revision is complete you may update your database by clicking on the Design, Close menu selection.  A dialog will appear like this:

 

To save the changes and overwrite the original design, make sure Overwrite the original design is selected and click OK.

If you want to discard the changes, select Discard design changes and click OK.

If you would like to add the design to the database but keep the original design, select Add to database as a new design.  For this option, you also make the current badge use the new design if you check Set current badge to this new design before clicking OK.

If you want to return to the design process, click Cancel.

As well as (or instead of) updating the database, you may save the modified badge design as a badge template by clicking on the Design, Export Design As menu item.  This will bring up a standard file dialog in which you can select a new badge template name.
