Capturing a Signature
Signature capture is an optional feature and uses a compatible graphics tablet. These tablets usually plug into an unused serial port and must be fully operational before trying to use with the Badging software. The tablet actually acts a secondary mouse and can be used to control the regular Windows™ mouse icon. A side-product of this is that a regular mouse can also be used to draw a signature when no tablet is present. However, the quality of the signature and its similarity to the individual’s normal signature may be less than satisfactory.
